Assisted Living at Westview Wing

    Our Assisted Living at Westview Wing is up and going with new Assisted Living residents being added every month.

    Resident choosing the Assisted Living at Westview Wing at Westminster Village have the privacy of their own apartment, ranging in size from an efficiency, with 250 sq. ft., to a two bedroom expanded, with 860 sq. ft.. 

    The one and two bedroom units have full kitchens with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink with disposal. The efficiencies have a small refrigerator and small microwave. The units are all furnished with new cabinets, new paint, and drapes are furnished in the units.  The units on the second floor maybe arranged and finished slightly different.

    There are three levels of service. Services included in the Assisted Living fees at all levels are;

• Utilities, except phone, including basic cable.

• Twice a month housekeeping

• Laundry of linens and personal laundry

• Three meals a day with menu choices in the Westview Wing dining room

• Apartment maintenance

• Van transportation by appointment

• Special activities and programs

• Individual thermostat for heat and cooling

• Mail delivery to apartment

• Emergency intercom and pendant with staff to respond 24 hours a day

• Security personal, including locked entrances that helps prevent unauthorized access while allowing resident's freedom to come and go. 

• A.M. and P.M. checks

• Meal reminders

• Bed making

      Assistance with transportation to appointments and programs and on and off property (there may be a charge for the programs off property, but not transportation)

    Hygiene reminders and occasional supervision of activities of daily living, defined as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal setup.  

These are additional services in Level II and Level III which include;

• Meal escorts

• Orientation cueing

• Reality assurance

• Medication supervision or medication reminders and setup

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Meal setup

• Incidental incontinence care

     The common areas of Westminster Village are also available for Assisted Living at Westview Wing residents. They include the library, pool table, exercise area and classes, sundry shop, beauty/barber shop, sandwich shoppe and a full service bank all on premises.
